Celebration of Learning Day 2012

Paul and I went with Hannah to her school for Celebration of Learning Day.  This is an annual event where we go and spend time with our child(ren) for a session up at school.  We get to do some activities with them and get to have a chat with them and their teacher.  Plus get to look through their portfolio.  This is a selection of work that Hannah's teacher and Hannah herself has chosen.

In the taxi on our way....

Working on an Acrostic Poem together using the word "Birthday Party"

Working on Venn diagrams.

Showing us her maths on the computer

Playing a maths game with the objective of distinguishing between units, tens and hundreds.

Hannah won.  She got to 100 first!

Being reflective on the Unit of Inquiry that they've just completed - Celebrations

Artwork - Hannah drawing a picture of me...

Hannah water colouring my portrait of her...

We had a marvellous time together and are just so proud of what Hannah can do and has done.  Next year's will be interesting as will have both of the girls there !!!
