Best News.....

This swine flu, for the past couple of weeks, has made things rather difficult. Many of the children's activities have been shut and with the weather getting hot and humid - options were limited. Of course there's still the outdoor parks but poor Victoria really feels the heat and after 5 mins running around is (and looks) rather hot.

I took the girls to Playtown today - a huge indoor playarea (for those in NZ think of Chipmunks, Lollipops) - for a play. Since we were there all day, had lots of time to think about things to do and plan my days. Got some great ideas and even put together a calendar so that I could keep track of it all. Was feeling really good about it all as are planning on being in HK for the summer. Then got home to find an email from Hannah's preschool stating that all summer activities at Woodland will commence as planned on Monday 29th !!!!!!!! I know it's just for the morning but means that she gets to go and have some fun with her friends doing fun activities. It's not school as such but more arts and craft. She won't go for the entire 2 months but will have a week on and week off - or something like that - as it means that we've got a few options to go away whether to Macau for a couple of days or somewhere in the region for a week. My holiday calendar will still be put to use though.....
